Anyway, this was a tiring day for me. I had school at 9am in Shibuya, and finished at 2pm. I didn't sleep the night before so I was almost falling asleep in class. It sucked. I left, grabbed some lunch, then headed out to Chiba. I love Chiba btw, it's so green compared to Tokyo and the public transport monorails over there are like acid trips to ride. The last time I was there was this time last year on Christmas day with
wnb_angel seeing Nightmare, so it's been a while. I just forgot how long it takes. It took an hour and a half from my place, which sucks. But I got there. The GazettE van was also there!
I didn't hang around long. I got there 2 hours before the doors opened, so no cosplayer pics. I'll get those at tomorrow's gig. But the venue was kind of small, even on the inside. I just didn't get the Adonis statue thing going on though in the lobby. Wtf.

So anyway, this time we were in front of Aoi again. He was certainly something tonight. He gave it so much I'd be surprised if his body wasn't in as much pain as mine. I still can't believe how he bends his back like that. It's like, a 90 degree bend going on up there. He seemed to like messing with his hair a lot though, after every single song his fingers were combing through it for some reason v

Disaster Master. But Ruki was absolutely adorable that night! Really! He was talking about the tour dates, and kept getting how many they'd completed so far wrong, but he was too smiley up there to actually piss anyone off with his forgetfulness. It stil amazes me how he can whip a cane out for a sex song, and then be all shy and twirling his hair around his fingers the next (or was i his earphone? w/e). Also, has anyone who isn't Japanese impaired noticed that Ruki can skip from Keigo to Teinei to casual all in one MC? I mean, WHAT THE FUCK. He's just a very confused person I think. Why Keigo though.
Anyway, for the encore, Aoi wore his Rock and Read outfit again, but this time it was complete, because he had that gorgeous lace covering his lower face too. It was incredibly distracting. It also doesn't help that he has this medical need to thrust his hips into his guitar apparently. I've watched Aoi at every live too, but of course, this one he was kind of in our faces, so I tried to take advantage of the closeness and gauge his facial expressions and other details when I wasn't busy with myself and the other members. They played 13STAIRS[-]1 again, along with THE TRUE MURDEROUS INTENT and CLEVER MONKEY, which was great. Reita growls like a bamf, really. You forget just how deep his voice is sometimes.
Worth noting, I don't know when it was ofc, but their manager Suzuki, at some point was doing some sort of furi thing with his hands at the back of the stage. I don't think it was during an actual song though, but it was amusing none the less. He's the manager who always wears the exact same clothes, and has been for the past 50 or so years probably. Also, when Uruha and Kai came out for the second encore, for some reason their arms were all wrapped around each other. Daww. Uruha had his hood up too, looking like a gangster in white, which is amusing in it's own way.
For songs like UNTITLED, it's good that
kotsurin was there tbh. I foolishly had eyemake up on at this live, and since I cry more than Reita at Tokyo dome in this song, it's good to have someone wipe the tears and running eyeliner of your face when it's over lol. I didn't want to be blinking away make up products while Ruki performed MY DEVIL ON THE BED again. I personally think he used the cane even more tonight, but who knows. I'm biased. Kantou, Reita was playing on the center platform, and Aoi was doing...something in front of him, god only knows what, I was too busy on the floor. But Reita threw his arms out like 'You wanna a fucking piece of me?' (all in good nature of course). Aoi does give off that kind of presence though, so I'm not going to think on that one too much.
I also think the band were very generous with the goodies on our side tonight. I caught Aoi's pick, and almost just missed a second one and Ruki's water bottle. After coming out the venue, all the Japanese fans were wanting to hold it at the train station lol. It looks just like the ABYSS/LUCY tour one, with pink writing instead of his usual gold.
I love the fact the end is slightly worn. Guitars have been raped with this pick: fact.
Ruki seems to be trying out different laughs lol. In songs like CLEVER MONKEY and HEADACHE MAN he really get's the Dr.Evil down to a t, but his MC giggled and gwfahs are priceless. I also came to the conclusion that should Ruki ever retire from being a rockstar, he should become a hand model. He likes to gesticulate a lot while singing these new songs I've noticed.
I'll look at tonight's live for anything else, but other than that, I'm really sorry for the short live report. I've just had enough time to shit this one out before I'm running off to the next one (I'm getting dressed as I write this) and after that, no lives for me until the 8th of November >: Sorry for any errors in this, I rushed it. When I have peace and quiet, I might come and re vamp some of these.
